The Chamber’s monthly Member Coffee was held at the Shelter at Springdale Park today, where attendees were treated to coffee and breakfast foods provided by event sponsor RE/MAX Commercial Connection, Ellen Mahoney. During the event, the Chamber presented a check for $17,700 to our Non-Profit Network organizations who volunteered to assist with the recent Village Fair. We are grateful to our Non-Profit Network for their dedication and hard work, and we are proud to support their important contributions to our community. Thank you to everyone who attended our July Member Coffee and helped make it a success.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us yesterday at the Diversity Expo held at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. It was a pleasure to see so many of our members come together to celebrate and embrace diversity in our community.

Dozens of Chamber Members and guests enjoyed appetizers and networking at our “Back to Business” mixer signaling the Chamber’s return to events after the holiday break. Zao Jun hosted us with incredible food offerings and cocktails. A great time was had, business relationships were strengthened and many new connections were made.
We held our final Member Coffee of the year at Michigan United Credit Union’s Birmingham branch. Dozens of members gathered for informal networking and coffee.
The Chamber held their annual Holiday Mixer on Thursday, December 8 at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center. Guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks while able to peruse incredible works of art as well as shop in the art center’s holiday shop. We are thankful for our Members: Venus Muse Bartending, Andiamo, and Tiffany Florist, for providing wonderful drinks, food, and flower centerpieces, respectively.
The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber celebrated a significant 75 years at their Annual Meeting on Thursday, December 1. During the event, new and retiring board members were recognized and the Chamber presented two awards. Chamber Member Brian Mutter of Forward Mortgage was selected as the Ambassador of the Year and Marx Layne & Company was presented with the THRIVE Award. The Thrive Award is given to a company that is notable for it’s contribution to the community. The breakfast event was held at The Community House.
