Memories were made at the Village Fair in downtown Birmingham at Shain Park last week. Tens of thousands of patrons roamed the downtown streets where they enjoyed many fair festivities.
Hosted by the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber and North American Midway Entertainment, the fair was highlighted by the many rides, game booths, and food stands on the streets. Fair favorites included the “Freak Out” ride, The “Dragon Express” roller coaster, face painting station, and the elephant ear/funnel cake stand.

The fair is not just a family fun event, the fair also raises money for over 15 local and national non-profit organizations. Members of these nonprofits volunteered throughout the weekend to clean up the streets and to create a welcoming environment for fair patrons. Everyone at the Chamber is thankful for all they have done to support the fair.

The fair also would not be possible if it were not for our very generous sponsors. Our sponsors helped us with many of the cost of the fair and as a chamber, we are grateful for that.
