October 20 - Birmingham Bloomfied Chamber - Small Business Conference 7:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Birmingham Conference Center - 31301 Evergreen Rd. Beverly Hills The conference features two dynamic keynote speakers Doug Rothwell, president and CEO of Business Leaders for Michigan, and Bob Fish, founder and CEO of Biggby Coffee. An equally important part of the day are a series of breakout sessions geared toward helping small businesses operate more efficiently and learning new tricks and tools to drive new and more businesses to their business. October 24 - 74th Annual Birmingham Halloween Parade and 17th Annual Pumpkin Patch 1 - 4 p.m. The Junior League of Birmingham and The Community House invite you to the perfect fun-filled family afternoon! The 17th Annual Pumpkin Patch will be held on the terrace of The Community House on Merrill St. Activities will include moon bounces, healthy refreshments, fantastic crafts, cookie decorating, and spooktacular games for children of all ages. The Community House Dance Academy will perform and Baldwin Library will have a non-scary story time and magician. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes.
March in the 74th Annual Birmingham Halloween Parade presented by the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber at 4 p.m. at the corner of Bates and Martin. Open to all, no RSVP required, and FREE!
