ENGLISH GARDENS ANNOUNCES HOLIDAY EVENTS

DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich., October 21, 2016 – As temperatures begin to cool, the anticipation of the holiday season gains strength. Join English Gardens in the coming months to celebrate the holidays with a host of exciting workshops, events and open houses!

The calendar of events includes:

  • Christmas Open House
    November 6, 2016
    10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    Celebrate the holiday season with our all new display of professionally decorated theme trees, visit with Santa, caroling and free refreshments. Photos with Santa are from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Bring your camera! Free photos! A portion of sales will be donated to Festival of Trees, the largest fundraiser for Children’s Hospital of Michigan.Free Craft Project
    Kids 2 to 12 years old
    Limit one per child, with adult helper.
  • DIY Christmas 
    November 10, 2016
    4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
    Join us for an evening of holiday inspiration, decorating demonstrations and DIY workshops.

  • Make It & Take It Workshop: Holiday Bow
    November 12, 2016
    10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
    Participants will receive step-by-step instructions on making a bow, and leave with one they’ve created in the workshop. $5 registration fee, plus the cost of ribbon purchased at English Gardens.

 

  • Make It & Take It Workshop: Holiday Bow

    1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
    Participants will receive step-by-step instructions on making a bow, and leave with one they’ve created in the workshop. $5 registration fee, plus the cost of ribbon purchased at English Gardens.

 

  • Seventh Annual Ladies Night
    November 17, 2016
    5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
    Royal Oak and Clinton Township Stores
    Enjoy an evening of shopping, pampering, music and refreshments in the festive holiday settings of English Gardens. $10 in advance. $15 at the door. 100% of the registration fees will be donated to Forgotten Harvest, Metro Detroit’s only food rescue organization.

 

  • Make It & Take Workshop: Holiday Herb Garden
    November 19, 2016
    10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
    A trio of 4-inch windowsill herbs in festive pots. We’ll provide all the materials to personalize yours. Saucers included. Pre-registration is required. Fee: $16.99; Value: $24.99.

 

  • Make It & Take Workshop: Holiday Evergreen Container Garden
    December 1, 2016
    7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
