What inspired you to choose your career? 
My father was a career banker who worked for both large and small banks.  He shared many of his experiences as a banker with the family around the dinner table.  As a result, I chose to follow in his career footsteps.

Event and Marketing Manager Position Opening
The Chamber will soon say farewell to Deidre Weber.  We are grateful for the strategic improvements she has made to the Chamber’s events and programs and the care in which she has performed her duties during her tenure.  Though it is a great loss to the Chamber, she  has  a wonderful opportunity ahead of her.  We wish her continued success.

Chamber Member Connects with Local Charity
On Saturday, October 20^th the Claymore Shop hosted an exciting, family-focused event coined “Finding the Light Within.” The event was designed to raise funds and awareness for Kids Kicking Cancer.   Numerous members of the community came together to do just that – a total of $2,800 was raised that day.

“We wanted to do something special in the community and when we heard about Kids Kicking Cancer, we knew we’d found our group,” says Bob Benkert, owner of the Claymore Shop. “The way they teach the kids to use their inner strength in dealing with cancer is absolutely incredible.”  Click here for more information.
